Gardners Choice complaint
I placed an order to Gardners Choice on March 2,2008 by phone ordering live plants which can not be in transit for long.

When I did not receive my order I called them on March 29th and they said my order was just shipped.

I waited again and then I have been trying to call them every day but I get a busy signal on their customer service and sometimes just cut off.

I see that they are advertising on the TV recently so they must be still in business. I also see that there are a lot of other complaints.

What can I, and others who are complaining do?

:sigh I wached an ad on TV for what seemed to be great grass seed. I then ordered it online and my payment was taken out of my account instantly. Four weeks have passed and still no grass seed. I called and they told me I should have gotten it already. I asked them when the order got shipped and the response, "I don't know" - so asked - "How do you know I should have got it already" and then heard the dial tone as a response. Other times I call and either busy or disconnects. The last time I spoke to someone, they told me I should get it by the end of the week - but never asked for my name...WTF?

:? I placed an order with Gardner's Choice back in early April. My payment cleared the bank in a few days - as for my order - I have not received it yet. I have sent various emails and made a ton of calls through out the day - the line is always busy - and the emails are never reqponded to. My order was for grass seed - and states that since it is not a seasonal item - should be receved in 4-6 weeks. Still NOTHING.... I would recommend this company to no one they are nothing but a complete rip off!

:? I have been trying to contact gardeners choice for 2 weeks a couple times a day my order total was 48.00 no one answers I sat on hold for 2 hours today and no one answered just the answering service

My parents ordered 5 Pepper Plants and 3 Banana plants from Gardner's Choice with check #---- which cleared 2/13/2008. The item #'s are #V90010 5 Pepper Plants #H13269 3 Yellow Banana Plants After several weeks of trying to get in touch with this company through their automated system that is always busy I was finally in touch with them today April 21, 2008. The customer service representative was very rude when I told her that the season to plant the pepper plants is now since is is 75-80F and the local nursery is selling the same plants. I tried to find an order status and she told me that there is no order number assigned until the package is shipped. I asked her what date that was and she did not know. I asked for a refund and she told me rudely that since there is no order number assigned until I receive the package that she would not refund me. I told her then that I would have to try to negotiate through the BBB since it is impossible to try to find any information or get a refund. Her response was, "I don't give a ***." She then hung up on me.
